Come and hear The Very Reverend, The Honourable Dr. Lois Wilson and The Honourable Nancy Ruth reflect on the impact of the Student Christian Movement in their past and current roles as Canadian senators. Friday, March 30, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., in Emmanuel College Chapel, 75 Queen's Park Cres. (Museum subway). Cost: $20, with light refreshments provided.

This Holy Week Service of Anointing, "Mary Speaks", leads us into the path to Easter.

This weekly noon-day service in the Heritiage Room holds special meaning in Holy Week.

"The Upper Room Remembered", held in the Chancel, includes the traditional foot-washing.

This service commemorates Christ's passion. The Rev. Dr. Malcolm Sinclair will preach a sermon entitled "The 'Passover'". The hymns, anthems, and organ music will reflect the theme of Good Friday.

"The Fire Rising" describes the lighting of the new fire which is the traditional beginning of Easter celebrations. We meet on the front lawn and move into the darkened church, eventually greeting the light and receiving the first Communion of Easter.

Our regular Sunday 9:30 morning Communion service with the Rev. John Joseph Mastandrea preaching on "The Heart Rising."

Easter Sunday Communion Service with the Rev. Dr. Malcolm Sinclair's sermon, "God's First Creature" and special music by the Metropolitan Silver Band and Metropolitan Choir.

Join us on Sunday in the Founders' Chapel for a brief Communion Service. The Rev. John Joseph Mastandrea will speak on "Alphabet Soup."

Join us on the first Sunday after Easter with the Carillon Prelude at 10:30 a.m. outside. At 10:45 a.m., our guest choir from Massillon, Ohio, will sing part of the prelude to our 11 a.m. service. During the service, the Rev. Dr. G. Malcolm Sinclair will speak on "Writing Our Grand Finale." During the service, we will honour our valued volunteers. The choral music includes a setting of "This Joyful Eastertide" and "O risen Lord" by Eleanor Daley.

Metropolitan will be celebrating National Volunteer Week (April 15-21, 2007) by recognizing our volunteers after the Sunday 11 a.m. service on April 15.
