Join us on the first Sunday after Easter with the Carillon Prelude at 10:30 a.m. outside. At 10:45 a.m., our guest choir from Massillon, Ohio, will sing part of the prelude to our 11 a.m. service. During the service, the Rev. Dr. G. Malcolm Sinclair will speak on "Writing Our Grand Finale." During the service, we will honour our valued volunteers. The choral music includes a setting of "This Joyful Eastertide" and "O risen Lord" by Eleanor Daley.

This week, we welcome the Fairmont State University Choir from West Virginia who will sing the prelude beginning at 10:45 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Malcolm Sinclair will speak on "Liberal Protestant Heaven" and we will dedicate our new copies of "More Voices", the new hymn resource of the United Church of Canada. As always, everyone is welcome to stay after the service for coffee and goodies.

On Sunday, May 6, 2007 the choirs and congregation of Metropolitan United Church celebrate a special anniversary, for this marks Dr, Patricia Wright's 20th anniversary as our Director of Music and Organist. We will celebrate during our Sunday morning worship service and over lunch following the service. Former choir members have been invited to join their voices as we celebrate Pat's mus

The organ prelude begins at 10:45 a.m. and, this Sunday we will be joined by the Metropolitan Silver Band. Dr. Malcolm Sinclair will speak on "What Language Shall I Borrow?". The music will be spectacular, as former choir members and musicians return to help us celebrate the twentieth anniversary of our musical director, Dr. Patricia Wright. We are so proud to have this gracious and gifted musician in our midst. She helps the whole world sing.

Matthew Coons, Metropolitan's Organ Scholar and a first-year organ major at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, will play this free, informal organ recital on Canada's largest pipe organ.  All are welcome!
