Ryan Jackson, formerly the Assistant Organist at Metropolitan returns from graduate studies at Yale to play Metropolitan's historic Casavant organ. Admission is free!

Join us for Sunday morning worship with Communion in the Founders' Chapel. Mykk Bashford will speak on "Three Corners of Heaven."

Join us on Sunday for worship at 11 a.m. The Carillon prelude begins outside at 10:30 am and the organ prelude begins at 10:45 am inside. The Rev. Dr. Malcolm Sinclair will speak on "The Lay of the Lost Room." Music will include organ music by Buxtehude, Bach, and Bédard; choral music by Alice Parker; and a piece by the Metropolitan Handbells. A time of refreshments and fellowship always follows our service.

William Wright, organist of Deer Park United Church and organ teacher at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, plays this free, informal organ recital on the largest pipe organ in Canada.  All are welcome!  This is the final recital of the season.  Look for details of September events during the summer.

The Board and Trustees (the committee that looks after the major decisions about church assets) feel that it's important to have the meeting before the summer holidays start in earnest, because depending on what the congregation decides, there may be important work that needs to get done over the summer. This is a “general meeting" with legal status, like the Annual General Meeting held in February. It is regrettable that it takes place on Pride Day, when many want to get away and join the celebrations, and when others have already left for vacations. The Board acknowledges that there is never an ideal time for Congregational meetings. For background information on the motion, please >>see here<<.
