VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CONGREGATIONAL CHRISTMAS DINNER.

 

The Hospitality Committee is calling for volunteers who are willing to collect and cook Christmas Turkeys for the Congregational Christmas Dinner on December 9.

This would entail:

 

1. Collecting a frozen turkey on Dec. 2 after the 11 am. Sunday service;

2. Cooking the turkey and returning it on Saturday Dec.8th. The sliced,cooked turkey should be put back in the disposable pan, along with the dressing. Gravy can go into the separate container.

The Peace and Social Justice Committee will have information tables in the narthex (that's the church's front lobby) before and after the 11 am service. Petitions and letters can be signed in support of Amnesty International campaigns. This is an annual event at Met, coinciding with Human Rights Day (Dec 10).
