Sermons

The Sermon is a classic means of engagement in Protestant worship. It is a teaching tool, a vehicle for inspiration, and a bridge between the Biblical texts, the contemporary scene and the human heart. The sermon comes to life in the eyes and ears of the congregation. As in a game of tennis, the preacher delivers the text and the people return the serve. Back and forth, back and forth it goes. Sometimes the people begin the volley. Sometimes events of the day command the shape of the game. The intention is always towards meaning, and a sense of human worth. You can listen to our recent sermons at METSERMONS.COM.
