Refreshment Organizer

What is the focus of this volunteer role?

To procure and serve refreshments to the audience at concert performances.


What does this typically involve?

  • Purchase water and glasses. (Generally, only water is served at concert performances at no charge. However, this could change.)
  • Prepare for the serving of water at intermission.
  • Clear up at the end of the performance.
  • Submit receipts for reimbursement of water and cups purchased.

When do these activities usually take place?

1.5 hours on concert day


What skills or knowledge are helpful in this role?

  • Dependability
  • Efficient and welcoming manner
  • Carrying cases of water can be quite heavy. This activity is best suited to someone who has the ability to carry reasonably heavy items.
