Group Tickets for "The Sound of Music"

I have been able to purchase group tickets to see "The Sound of Music" on Wednesday October 29th at 7:30 pm. Based on the life of antislavery pioneer William Wilberforce,you will experience his fight to outlaw slavery in Britain in the late 18th century.

Real servant leadership in congregational care

I recently resigned from the Congregational Care Committee because I'm leaving Toronto and moving to Vancouver. I found this hard, because even though I'm way too busy to be on this committee, I always enjoyed it. It's been especially enjoyable recently since Sandra Hellyer took over as the chair, because Sandra does such a great job at appreciating everyone's contributions. She makes sure to thank everyone for every little thing, which just makes it so much more fun to actually DO those little things.

Support Group for Adult Children of Aging Parents

The Support Group for Adult Children of Aging Parents is a network of congregation members at Metropolitan United Church who are, or have recently been, engaged in caring for elderly parents. We seek to learn from each other and to support each other as members of a faith community who are facing a common set of challenges, including:


Excursion to Hear the Mendelssohn Choir
