Gaudete!

Metropolitan United's second Christmas CD provides the listener with a sampling of the variety of music heard during the church's Advent and Christmas services. Features the adult choir and soloists, organ, carillon, handbells, Celtic harp, guitar, violin, piano and percussion. Recorded at Metropolitan United Church in June, 2002. Total playing time: 69:42. Live in the Maritimes!

This recording includes a variety of music that might also be heard during worship services at Metropolitan. Sounds of the Soul

This recording includes organ music enjoyed by Metropolitan's congregation, which has long valued the organ's place in its worship and concert life. Performed by Patricia Phillips Wright, D.M.A., Minister of Music and organist of Metropolitan, on the church's Casavant organ, Canada's largest with more than 8,000 pipes (built in 1930, enlarged with a gallery organ in 1998). Recorded at Metropolitan United Church, April 12-14, 1999. Total playing time: 61:35. Available only on CD for $20 plus shipping/handling.


On Christmas Night

Anniversary Carillon Program

Recorded at Metropolitan United Church on Sunday, April 18, 1982, on North America's first harmonically tuned carillon . The special occasion was the 60th anniversary of the installation of the original 23 bells (since increased to 54 bells) and the 20th anniversary of the appointment of James B.
