Your First VisitWelcome visitors!Metropolitan United Church is a busy destination all week long. We welcome all visitors with open arms, whether you want to drop in and see our lovely sanctuary or try us out for a worship service or two. Our doors are open to people from every faith, and we regularly welcome guests from around the world. One of the best times to visit is for our 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service, complete with preaching, choirs and fellowship. This is the service that will give you the best sense of what we're about. More information about this and our other worship services can be found in the Our Sunday Morning section of this website. Narthex GreetersThe Narthex Greeters group is small, but in 2006 they met 6,656 visitors who came through Met’s front doors. Knowledgeable about the building’s history as well as the story of the congregation, Narthex members welcome visitors to the building from Monday to Friday, noon to 3 p.m. The people who come to see Metropolitan United, in groups both large and small, may be local or from anywhere in the world. They come in to learn more about the building, pray, light a candle, or perhaps just sit for a while. Stained-Glass Windows Tour GuideThe attachment below contains a pamphlet describing the stained-glass windows in the sanctuary of Metropolitan United Church.
