Metropolitan Silver Band Concert

Join us for the Metropolitan Silver Band's annual free Doors Open Concert!

One of the most historic bands in the GTA plays some great Brass Band music....

Among the items on the one hour program we will be performing the Suite from the Hymn of the Highlands by Philip Sparke which prominently features the beloved Highland Cathedral theme, along with Goff Richard’s sparkling march The Jaguar, and an arrangement of the hauntingly beautiful Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. We will be offering some light fare as well with John Williams Epic Themes, the music of Mary Poppins, and Neil Hefti’s fun swing Duet featuring Debbie Silverthorne and Bran Moyer on trumpet.
