Worship is the food of the human spirit. It fulfills the heart's desire for meaning in a world that is often full of distraction. This section of our site is dedicated to the worship programs we offer and the sprirtual community we have created at Metropolitan. Please use the dropdown menu and the Christian education section to learn more.
At Metropolitan, our work and worship take many forms throughout the year. These include two public worship services every Sunday morning, monthly Taize services (first Wednesday), spirituality groups, workshop events, neighbourhood festival themes, Pride Day celebrations, meditation classes, and Wednesday noon-hour worship activities. We also offer an opportunity to walk the Labyrinth: a healing and restorative experience that crosses the boundaries of many spiritual traditions.
At Metropolitan United, we like to think our church offers a spiritual banquet table, open to all who come. We offer spiritual sustenance to those who hunger, spiritual care for those in need, yet always allow space enough to free the soul.
