During regular periods, Metropolitan United offers two main services each Sunday.

The larger service takes place at 11:00 a.m. and features sermons and music from the choir, followed by light refreshments and conversation. 

There is also a smaller communion service that takes place at 9:00 a.m. 


Sunday, 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. (September to June) — Communion Service (Founders' Chapel) 
This is a short service where people can find a quiet centre in the early morning.

Sunday, 10 a.m. (September to June) — Open Library Session (Flanders Library)
Sunday, 10:30 a.m. (all year) — Carillon Prelude (outside)
Sunday, 10:45 a.m. (all year) — Organ and Instrumental Prelude (Sanctuary)

Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (all year) — A Service of Word, Song, and Prayer.
The cornerstone of our week, this service is offered under the leadership of The Rev. Jason Francis Meyers and Supply Minister The Rev. Mark Aitchison. This service includes anthems from the Metropolitan Choir (between September and June) and is followed by light refreshments and fellowship.

Sunday, 11 a.m. (September to June) — Church School (begins in the Sanctuary and moves to the Met Centre).
Sunday, 12:00 p.m. (all year) — Coffee and Fellowship (Sanctuary).
Sunday, 12:00 p.m. (September to June) — Open Library Session (Flander’s Library).

Outside of summer, we also offer a Thursday Evening Communion service over Zoom, weekly at 8:00 p.m.
