What a smorgasbord of disparate readings we have for this Sunday: the anointing of oil as a metaphor for unity from the Psalm, early commune living from the Epistle, and the dramatic, rather graphic, story of the level head of Thomas on encountering Jesus seemingly in the flesh, wounds and all, from the Gospel. We will tie these together on Sunday with a sermon entitled "The Little Engine that Did."
- Prelude: Various (J.S. Bach; Burge; Widor)
- Readings: Acts 4:32-35; Psalm 133; John 20:19-31
- Sermon: The Little Engine That Did (The Rev. Karen Bowles)
- Solo: “I Know That My Redeemer Liveth” from Messiah (Handel)
- Postlude: 'Toccata’ from Symphony 5 (Widor)
