Metropolitan United Church is centrally located in downtown Toronto, just two blocks east of Yonge Street and the Eaton Centre shopping mall. It is aross Bond Street from St. Michael's Hospital and just south of St. Michael's (Roman Catholic) Cathedral in a bustling neighbourhood.
By Public Transit (TTC)
The closest subway station is Queen (on the Yonge line). Metropolitan is two blocks east of Yonge. Streetcar lines 501 and 502 run along Queen Street and stop right in front of Metropolitan.
By car from the west:
Exit from the Gardiner Expressway at either Yonge Street or Jarvis Street, and go north to Queen Street.
From the east:
Exit from the Gardiner Expressway at either Yonge Street or Sherbourne Street (east of Jarvis Street), and go north to Queen Street.
Parking
Metropolitan's parking lot on the west side of the church is entered from Bond Street. During worship services, this parking lot is reserved for the church and parking is free. At other times, the lot is operated as pay parking at public rates. There is ample on- and off-street parking near the church. The largest surface lot is located one block east of Church Street on the south side of Queen Street.
