To foster a culture that enables the NextGen demographic to connect as members of the congregation by building relationships and encouraging their involvement in the life of the church. This functions grips the “intrinsic heart” of the Metropolitan congregational family.

2017 Review

The group seeks to reach people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. The group gathered monthly, at the church, at homes, and in pubs. The group has grown from 4 to 25, with an increase of new members as we get together. A few key events in 2017 included Theology on Taps at the Imperial Pub and McVeigh’s Pub, Axe Throwing, BBQs, and leadership in the 2017 Strawberry Social.

Plans for 2018

In 2018, the groups plans to go bowling in February and explore moments tof enagement and discovery. We invite the many people in the NextGen demographic to discover the gift of community as we are people in the 21st century leading with vision and blazing fresh trails.
