Whether prepping food, serving, or sitting at the tables, our program workers create an environment of fun, laughter, and care. Volunteers from across Toronto encourage growth in self-esteem and facilitate a sense of community for the inner city’s lonely, hungry, and underhoused people. Our program inspires hope and renewal for all participants.

We are often seeking volunteers to assist with the Community Meal Program on Fridays (November to April). On Thursday afternoons, volunteers work on preparing food in the kitchen. On Fridays, volunteers work on setting up, serving food, listening and talking with the guests and encouraging them to take advantage of the many social programs offered in Toronto. We endeavour to earn respect and trust amongst all who attend and/or help with the Winter Community Meal Program.
