Maundy Thursday takes its name from the latin Mandatum, meaning ‘commandment’, in reference to the new commandment Jesus gives his disciples at the Last Supper. In addition to taking communion together, this service models Jesus' washing of the disciples’ feet as an embodied action of friendship and servanthood.

This service is part of the ancient Triduum – marking the three sacred days leading up to Easter.

This service is offered in person only.
