Why not hop onto Zoom for après Church, our new weekly check-in and discussion group, when we're finished worship? You'll find the Zoom joining link here, and also in the chat windows during service.

This week's discussion topic: What would the ideal future for the United Church look like in 5 years? How could Met play a role as a “leader church” in getting us there?

-----

In this letter to the Corinthians, Paul compares the church to the living body of Christ.  In Rev. Meyers’ sermon this week, “Corpus Connect-us,” we will dig into this metaphor, how subversive it is to a culture based on wealth and status, and how all followers of Jesus are called to help fulfill his dual mission of liberation and belonging.

The cornerstone of our week, worship at 11am is offered under the leadership of The Rev. Jason Francis Meyers, Dr. Patricia Wright, The Rev. Mark Aitchison, lead singers of the Metropolitan Choir, and members of the Metropolitan Silver Band.

We are temporarily closed for in-person worship. Information on registration and health protocols, including providing proof of vaccination for attending worship upon re-opening, can be found here.

The service is livestreamed at metunited.ca/live at 10:45am, and on Facebook & YouTube. You may need to refresh your page if you arrive early.

Past services can be found on the Sermons & Livestreams page.
