December 23: IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT HEATING IN THE CHURCH

As affirmation that our God has a sense of humour, just days before our Christmas services, the steam heating system at the church has had a major breakdown. Primarily due to the heroic efforts of our Property Manager, Frank Cormier, temporary workarounds to salvage as much heat as possible have been put in place, while the custom-built parts needed for a permanent fix are sought out (not a simple task at this time of year). The temperature in the sanctuary is currently stable and comfortable. However, as the weather gets colder, it is possible that the system won't be able to keep up, and you may feel more comfortable keeping your winter layers on. We also ask that you please keep an eye on the storm this weekend and ensure that any travel you do is safe. We will keep the congregation updated on the efforts to lovingly nurture the heating system of our historic building back to full health. May the warmth of God's love be with all of us.
