This Sunday we gather to tell the Great Story of Jesus’s birth in Met’s Christmas pageant. After a Covid-induced hiatus last year, we are delighted to welcome back the cast of familiar characters, the text from resident poet Patricia Orr, and music from the Metropolitan Choir and Great Heart.

  • Prelude: Various (Daquin; Messiaen; arr. Nixon; Tambling)
  • Anthems
    • Softly (Todd)
    • Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day (arr. Willcocks)
  • Great Heart
    • Mary, Did You Know (Lowry/Greene)
    • I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day (Hall/Oliver/Herms)
  • Postlude: Christmas Scherzo (Nixon)
