As we journey through the four weeks of Advent, the spiritual practice of waiting prepares us for birth of Jesus and the season of Christmas. These next weeks of wonder and enchantment speak to our common longing to know that we are not alone; that Emmanuel does come and that God is with us.
The world feels unsteady now, and many people are struggling. As we seek some solid ground under foot, this is a time to lean on the wisdom of our spiritual ancestors. This is a time to start new traditions for ourselves, our children and grandchildren as we participate in God's good intentions for this broken but beautiful world.
Online via livestream or in-person at 56 Queen St. East, we hope to see you soon!

In days of division and disinformation, it can be hard to discern what the truth is. Advent is a season of intentional waiting that prepares our hearts to encounter the deepest truth: that God is with us.

BLUE CHRISTMAS - Dec 17, 5pm: A gentle and supportive service for those who find this season challenging, or need a break from the hustle and bustle of it all. This is an in-person only gathering in the chancel.
