Although we live 2000 years after the disciples of Christ, we have much in common with them. This week's scripture reminds us that fear puts the disciples in the company of so many other people. Those dominated by fear include many of the people we see around us every day. Perhaps even ourselves. The good news of Easter is that the Risen Christ who was not locked by death in the tomb, will not be locked away from his people, the church. The One who died for us... will arise among us.
