Met is expanding its visual and creative arts programming within the Ministry of Integrated Arts, with current and long-term activities including creative projects, learning and sharing opportunities, art appreciation, art displays within the church, and art for the purposes of spiritual support and personal affirmation.
We are currently offering a space to gently and collectively grow through the experience of creating and learning about art. In addition to regular Open Studios welcoming participants of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels to make art, share knowledge and learn from others, we also hope to offer workshops on a variety of artistic forms, i.e., writing, photography, watercolour, folk art, and an ecological justice initiative. Dates will be posted as programs and events take place.
It’s our mission to create a welcoming space; to that end, if you have an artistic idea and are able to volunteer your time to guide people through a workshop or short series, please be in touch - we are open to suggestions.
