I have never been to church before. What should I expect?
At Metropolitan United, our Sunday services are the best time to check out what we are about. Click here to read more about what happens here on Sundays. In summary, anyone from any faith background or walk of life is welcome. You should expect a sermon featuring readings from the bible, hymns sung by the choir and the congregation, and an opportunity for coffee and conversation following the service. You can participate however much you feel comfortable.

Do I need to be a Christian to be welcome in the church?
Metropolitan United welcomes all people, regardless of faith, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or ability.

Are children welcome?
Yes, children are welcome at service. From September to June, we offer a Church School, open to children of all ages. This begins shortly after the commencement of our 11 a.m. Sunday service.

Is Metropolitan United an accessible space?
Metropolitan United is wheelchair accessible. We also provide mobile hearing aids and large print hymns and bulletins. Pew seat cushions are available from the ushers or greeters.
